Bacon Street Lofts, located in South Burlington Vermont is a new timber frame construction project that required an acoustical underlayment to reduce the transfer of structure-borne noise from one floor to another. With timber subfloors, intense floor preparation is often required. All seams and screw heads in the wood subfloor need to be patched and sanded smooth. It is important that the underlayment is a seamless solid substrate to glue a vinyl plank floor to. The floor preparation to accomplish this can often be as time consuming as the installation of the finished floor itself.

With the amount of floor preparation and the need for a structure-borne noise acoustic underlayment system, Jumpax was a perfect fit.

Testimonials

“We at Floor Coverings International believe in using the best materials for our customers. After years of using traditional underlayment we have moved to the best underlayment around, Jumpax.
